Google Doodle for Amelia Earhart
An aviation pioneer and hero to men and women alike, Amelia Earhart would have been 115 years old today, and is being honored with a Google Doodle.
During an attempt to make a circumnavigational flight of the globe in 1937, Earhart disappeared over the Pacific Ocean. Fascination with her life, career, and disappearance continues to this day.
