The Art of Chess
“From my close contact with artists and chess players I have come to the personal conclusion that while all artists are not chess players, all chess players are artists.” -Marcel Duchamp
The Saatchi Gallery is showing Art of Chess, whichbrings together 16 chess sets designed by some of the world’s leading Contemporary artists, such as Barbara Kruger, Yayoi Kusama, and Maurizio Cattelan!
The Art Of Chess, which runs from September 8 to October 3, 2012, celebrates the ‘game of kings’ and its continued relevance to the creative arts.
