Priceless Artworks Stolen
Seven priceless artworks by artists including Pablo Picasso, Claude Monet, and Lucian Freud were stolen from the Kunsthal Museum in Rotterdam last night.
"An initial investigation suggests that the robbery was well prepared," reads a statement from the Dutch police.
Among the stolen works were Picasso’s 1971 Harlequin Head, Monet’s 1901 Waterloo Bridge, London, Henri Matisse’s 1919 Reading Girl in White and Yellow, and Lucian Freud’s 2002 Woman with Eyes Closed.
