Apart from the annual Oktoberfest extravaganza, Munich is also known for its excellent cultural offerings! So if you happen to be in the Bavarian town this week, don’t miss this:
Galerie Thomas Modern is showing a collection of work by artist Chuck Close. The opening will take place this Thursday, November 22, at 7:00 p.m.
Close is best known for his large scale Photorealist portraits, composed of tiny airbrush bursts, thumbprints, or looping multi-color brushstrokes.
